Better map needed[edit]

The current map is good for showing where the Sea of Marmara is, but the scale is so big that you can't tell which island is indicated because the red dot covers two islands. Richard75 (talk) 15:30, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Greek name[edit]

The Greek name of the island should be mentioned in a separate subcategory and not in the very beginning according to rules and regulations, as is the case with say Meis Island. 176.55.120.216 (talk) 08:42, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The guideline for naming[edit]

Nearby almost island[edit]

I would like to read about this on Wikipedia but don't know how I would find it, the nearby land which is virtually an island but is joined to Anatolia by a tiny bit of land. I want to know about it before the Turk occupation, did the Romans just call it part of the mainland or did they call it a named island? Middle More Rider (talk) 04:28, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You mean Kapıdağ? Was called Cyzicus before the Turks came. Do note that the talk page is not for questions like this, but I did want to answer your question. Uness232 (talk) 10:15, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, I asked because this article has pictures of it, wording over it on one, red dot over it on another, so it is part of the location.
