Breast Cancer Survivor[edit]

In July 1998, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which spread to her lymph nodes. She had a lumpectomy and lymph node removal, followed by an aggressive course of chemotherapy and daily radiation treatments. She completed her treatments in January 1999. Since then, she has written a memoir and a collection of short stories and poems describing her experiences. --Got this information from the pamphlet she gave out during one her inspiration presentations titled "I'm Still Here... and so is my hair!"

This passage was just slightly altered from the original (so don't just copy it into the article). Erm, there are references on the article page about her cancer, but there is no information in the actual article on it... -- 5Celcious (talk) 18:24, 4 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
