Brief translation of original Welsh name[edit]
I have translated "Berllan Lwyd" as "The Grey/Brown Orchard", but this has been changed to "Grey Orchard". Today the word "llwyd" is most commonly translated as "grey", however in Welsh topography colours like "Llwyd" and "glas" would have been used in their Celtic context of hue, rather than the modern understand of colours as a spectrum. Therefore, (and without starting an in-depth discussion on Welsh colours) I think a better translation of the name would be as "Grey/Brown" and not simply as "Grey". Also, as we just can't be sure what kind of orchard this was, it is surely better not to limit non-Welsh speakers understanding.

Yes, historically, 'llwyd' can mean grey-brown. I've reverted your revert and added brown back in, since you don't seem to object to any of the other changes Daffy (talk) 11:08, 29 January 2022 (UTC).
