Can someone clarify a fact please?[edit]

The article currently has this sentence: "He (Pavelich) got the only assist on the game winning goal by Mike Eruzione." This may well be correct, but it contradicts the article on John Harrington which has this sentence: "Harrington is credited with an assist on Mike Eruzione's go-ahead game-winning goal against the USSR." In hockey, it is possible for two assists to be credited on a single goal. But this article claims there was only one assist on the go ahead goal by Eruzione. Which article is correct? I just noticed the Miracle on Ice article lists the box score for the game and does credit Harrington with an assist. I looked at the cited report from the Olympics and it does credit Harrington with the pass to Pavelich. It seems this article needs to be changed. Perhaps there is a larger story or controversy I am not aware of, but the current wording is not accurate. RonCram (talk) 07:03, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
