Birthplace[edit]

Talking to Michael Rowland on ABC News 24 this morning he said he was born in Kalgoorlie. We say Broome. -- Jack of Oz ^{[pleasantries]} 23:12, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship to Ningali Lawford[edit]

Both this article and the one on Ningali Lawford say that she was Mark Coles Smith's grandmother. Is that definitely correct? She was born in 1967 i.e. she was only 20 years older than him. 62.49.121.220 (talk) 21:01, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it does seem odd - and actually Mark is not named as one of her grandchildren in the Guardian article reporting Ningali's death. However the ABC article reports him as saying she was his grandmother, and calls her "Nanna"... I think the best we can do at this point (until further info comes to light) is to make it clear where the info is derived from. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 23:15, 15 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
