Authors[edit]

The listing of authors has two issues. 1. notability of some of these authors (probably don't need red links) 2. wrong links to articles with the same name. I've gone through the first half of these links, suggesting improvements, and fixing links. Widefox (talk) 20:40, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bibliographies and checklists[edit]

These bibliographies and checklists might be useful for this article: http://www.mzbworks.com/bindx.htm http://www.philsp.com/mags/mzb.html Jodi.a.schneider (talk) 05:13, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Award-winnning short stories, to establish notability[edit]

Many award-winning stories were first published in this magazine. Searching Locus (e.g. "marion zimmer bradley's fantasy magazine" award will turn up a number of relevant results which could be included. Jodi.a.schneider (talk) 05:14, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contributors list[edit]

In my opinion, the contributors list is not needed in this article. Piece counts would also need to be sourced. I'm putting this here to make it easy to see what I removed. Jodi.a.schneider (talk) 05:17, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

More on notability[edit]

On a page about The Lost Years of Merlin, which purports to be part of "an offprint from Beacham's Guide to Literature for Young Adults, Volume 12." per the copyright info: "The inaugural issue of a leading fantasy magazine (Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy Magazine, 1989) featured a story about a spinning castle."

With print sources this "leading fantasy magazine" claim should be easy to back up. Jodi.a.schneider (talk) 05:24, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Interviews[edit]

It would be nice to have a better source regarding interviews as a "characteristic"--i.e. from a literary criticism piece. I have removed this: "Often a story by the person interviewed would appear in the same issue as the interview.[citation needed]"

Based on the back issue index, such interview/story pairs appeared *sometimes* but perhaps not "often". Feel free to replace this with a better source. Jodi.a.schneider (talk) 05:42, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
