Election Results[edit]

The election results sections pertain to Joe Arpaio, not to the MCSO. I have removed them, as they are not relevant to this article. Fearofreprisal (talk) 22:31, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy and Criticism[edit]

Much controversy and criticism regarding the MCSO is more properly directed to Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The items in this section ought to, reasonably, point to controversies and criticisms that are a result of actions of individuals other than (or at least, in addition to) Arpaio. Items in this section would seem relevant if they can be written without reference to Arpaio. Fearofreprisal (talk) 00:01, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replaced controversy section that was moved to Maricopa County Sheriff's Office controversy. See WP:BRD. Fearofreprisal (talk) 10:51, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Number of deputies[edit]

The main article makes no mention of the number of sworn deputies, nor does the MCSO web site, though it alludes to 3,000 posse members. Other online sources indicate some 900 deputies as of early 2010. IMO the number of personnel in any organization should be part of any wiki entry.
