Is anyone not discouraged by the fact that almost everything about Maria Luisa of Parma, is cited verbatim? The wording in almost every source I googled is exact, even in Italian (which is the only other language I can read.) favourite child[edit]

How do you know that Maria Luisa was her mother's favourite kid, I always thought that Maria Isabella (her elder sister) was her favourite child. --Daaviiid (talk) 21:49, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I know it because I read it in two different sources: a Spanish book and a French article about Maria Luisa. In fact, Louise Elizabeth of France didn't show any affection to her eldest daughter Isabella, and even the French ambassador in Parma once wrote to King Louis XV of France that he often had to ask Louise Elizabeth to be kinder to Isabella. However, at the same time Louise Elizabeth was very tender to Maria Luisa, perhaps because she was her youngest child. --DanyMountbatten (talk) 08:40, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
