What's Margot doing today? With the type of passion and determination to cause she's lived, her actions can make a difference. She changed my life. We need that inspiration again. Dana —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.136.45.36 (talk) 16:58, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm highly trained in Adlerian psychology and I think it's offensive that Alfred Adler is referred to as a "Jewish" psychologist. He believed that religion was fictional and something people used for their own psychological needs and not a reality. He believed that religion was a negative influence on humanity if it divided people. Adler was all about unity and not dividing people with false labels.

Deletion of WinterStar mention

Kathryn states "Undue weight, only sourced by link to personal website of involved party." This is NOT undue weight, since this event is the ONLY case of a lecture or a panel discussion Adler allowed to be produced as a publicly-available recording, and the panel discussion included three other speakers notable enough to have their own articles. Also, the citation was from Muruga Booker's website, who is NOT an "involved party". Muruga did not appear at an ACE event for 14 years after this appearance by Adler, and has never met Adler; he is not a member of ACE nor has he ever been. I don't know what a "personal" website is versus some other kind of website, or whether it matters, but this one is a professionally-maintained website featuring the history, works and touring information of a notable musician and artist. It includes an article about ACE and its events. The facts being cited can be verified on the website of the organization who hosted the event at which the lecture and panel discussion were held and recorded[1], and the tapes have ISBN numbers which can be looked up. Both tapes can be found in the ACE Cybercatalog, but I will not include a link to that commercial site here. I mention this only because the accompanying text describing the tapes supports the info deleted from the article. I hope someone will reverse her deletion; I am reluctant, since my doing so will surely elicit accusations of COI.Rosencomet (talk) 17:03, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

The Muruga Booker "article" (murugabooker.com/ace.html) is on the artist's website. Considering that the written piece mostly consists of a laundry list of performers and almost verbatim descriptions of the events from publicity materials, it's difficult to call it a reliable and verifiable source. The Booker piece doesn't actually support any of the information that Kathryn removed at that time. Considering that ACE and Booker have had a financial partnership/relationship in the past, it's difficult to assess the independence of the piece. Pigman 17:58, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Son

I have removed the brief section mentioning Adler's son. It's unsourced, not directly relevant to Adler's notability, and unlike her grandfather Adler's son is not notable himself.--~TPW 05:46, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

I rated this article as Start-class because much more information is needed and it appears kind of disorganized. It seems comparable to the articles listed as examples of Start-class work. - AdelaMae (talk - contribs) 02:56, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
