Footnote [3] here brings from the NYTimes obituary (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margerie_Bonner#cite_note-2) that Margerie is accepted as the model for Yvonne. While I have not read the biographies, I have read Jan Gabriel's "Not with a Bang" (found at http://books.google.co.il/books?id=ZcE4aH4PD-kC&printsec=frontcover&dq=fructuoso+sanabria&hl=en&source=gbs_similarbooks_s&cad=1#v=onepage&q=&f=false ) and was struck at the love me/don't love me dynamics SHE describes in their relationnship, seeming very much to be the model for Geoff and Yvonne. Also, UTV was first completed in 1940, while he didn't marry Magerie until that year. Wasn't the Times mistaken? Thank you for any responses, S D Kaplan @ sdkplan at gmail dot com
