I'll be honest. I don't know if this is an inadvertent duplicate of Curiatius Maternus: similar names, lived about the same time. I do know that this Curiatius Maternus was alive after Domitian's death, so either Dio's account that Domitius had Maternus executed was wrong or they are different people.
