Suspension bridges[edit]

This page is on my list to edit - Seguin wasn't the first to build a wire suspension bridge of the modern type (Dufour beat him to it!), and it's not clear that he built the first suspension bridge in continental Europe either. -- Kvetner (talk) 12:37, 19 November 2007 (UTC) Nor was he a member of the Académie des Sciences, at least not the French one - they do not list him.
