We would rather it stays separate, but can have links to Luhya page! Thanks. Mlwenya (talk) 20:01, 13 August 2008 (UTC)morris[reply]

I would prefer a separate page, but it should be extended at least. Also, it should be clarified whether this page is about a region in Kenya or an ethic group living there. Julius Sahara (talk) 16:21, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Avalogooli (The Maragooli people) are numerically among the larger of the sub-groups of the Luhya people. I believe there is a lot more that could bve written about them that could enrich the Luhya page. Better still, a more comprehensive separate page for Avalogooli would suffice. I reached this page via a link from the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Wouldn't it be interesting to mention that Avalogooli were the pioneer Quaker missionaries and educationists and therefore agents of change among the Luhya people.

Over time a lot has happened and changed and it would good to trace the cultural, social, economic, political as well as ecological dynamics that have (and continue to) shaped the present day Maragooli. Andimi, let us debate this... Basanga (talk) 15:58, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Avarogori - has the biggest entry on the Luhya section and in fact most of the entries on Luhya section have been copied from the maragoli section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.33.31.11 (talk) 17:20, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
