I too am struggling to work out how to re-write the document. Trying to find an "offical source" documenting a passing character in a legend handed down though the generations is rather difficult. The only sources seem to be passing comments on the Anbangbang Shelter drawings found in Nourlangie Rock Flyscan (talk) 07:07, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Article name[edit]

The only reference I can see in this article that uses the name 'Mamaragan' is the 'godchecker.com' article, and that itself is unreferenced. The origin of the DC comics character is also unclear. Which language is 'Mamaragan'? Also unknown. What we do know is that 'Namarrkon' is a lightning god in a real Aboriginal language (Bininj Kunwok).[1] This is almost certainly the same god as 'Mamaragan'. I would suggest we rename the article to Namarrkon and build around that, unless there is a specific language reference for Mamaragan. Zaddikskysong (talk) 03:40, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
