Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

What's the difference, then?[edit]

What's the difference between Malasada and Oliebol? To me, they're both pt:Bolinho de Chuva 186.220.79.220 (talk) 22:05, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Origins and form mismatch[edit]

1. If malasadas were invented by people in Madeira why does the column on the right shows also Açores? I think it should show only Madeira.

2. "They can be reheated in the microwave, but then they will have absorbed the sugar, providing a slightly different flavor and texture. However, it can also be frozen without the sugar." The second sentence does not match in form with the first sentence (they/it).

In popular culture[edit]

Malasadas are referenced in the games Pokémon Sun and Moon as a nod to the Hawaii-inspired setting of the game. Are there any other pop culture references to malasadas, and would they (or the reference in Pokémon) be notable enough to warrant a new section? Move article to Malassada[edit]
