Impossibility of a magnetic field local maximum[edit]

The article says, "It is impossible to produce a local maximum of the magnetic field magnitude in free space." This seems counter-intuitive to me. It seems to me that a current loop would have a local maximum of the magnetic field magnitude in the free space at the center of the loop. There should be an explanation to clarify this claim - or at least a reference to such an explanation.Koilon (talk) 16:35, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

it wouldn't because if you moved slightly way from the centreo of the loop the magnetic fied would increase

Link to evaporative cooling[edit]

In the paragraph "Applications in Bose-Einstein condensation" there is a link to Evaporative Cooling. This is not totally wrong, but in this case I think the link should point to Magnetic evaporative cooling since this is the mechanism used for (further) cooling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chrishan25 (talkcontribs) 18:12, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
