Magistrates of Brussels[edit]

I might refactor this article as one about the main work, Magistrates of Brussels, and document in sections each of the sketches that survive. Thoughts? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 21:09, 29 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure about that Andy. No string views. However I too was intrigued by the TV programme. Didn't the frame actually say "by Van Dyke" on it? I realise its not proof but it would assist Fiona Bruce to question not who painted it, but was it van dyke or not. I think that should be mentioned. discussion of events[edit]

He took the painting to a recording of Antiques Roadshow at Newstead Abbey, Nottinghamshire, in 2012.[1][2] MacLeod then took it to a second recording, at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester.[3]

This reads as if we're in the lead paragraph, summarizing.

To my surprise, this is the main body of the article and nothing further is said about the first recording.

What happened (or did not happen) there? Why do we mention this, the first visit, at all?
