Can anyone suggest good third-party sources on the M-497? This came up at Budd Rail Diesel Car#Publicity stunt? Writings by both the engineer (drawing board sense) and the engineer (choo-choo sense) suggest otherwise and will probably come again when that article undergoes peer review and Good Article nomination. I can't recall if either Crouse or Duke & Keilty discussed the test and I don't presently have access to either book. Thanks, Mackensen (talk) 18:49, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
