Article needs "History" section[edit]

Aside from all the Wikipedia policy violations I've corrected, this article should include a history of the museum. Also, the lead should be, by policy, an encapsulation of the article, and not contain information not found elsewhere in the article. -- 207.237.230.157 (talk) 00:07, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"best known person associated with the Museum"[edit]

No disrespect to Ms Worden, but wouldn't Dr Mutter be the best-known person associated with the Museum? And a full paragraph about Ms Aptowicz who really (again, no disrespect) needs no more mention than as the author of a book about the man who created the Museum in the first place and gave it its original material. Even if Mutter doesn't deserve a W article of his own (perhaps he does), his contribution to the founding of this Museum is certainly very relevant. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 22:37, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Grover Cleveland's tumor.[edit]

The Museum holds the wet specimen oral tumor of President Grover Cleveland, removed in secret, and lied about when the news was leaked. The cover-up wasn't corroborated until 1917, after the President's death, when one of the doctors, William Williams Keen, published an account of the surgery.
