WW2[edit]

1940-1941 people were deported into the SU, mostly to Kazakhstan, rather not to Gulag camps. Xx236 08:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kuban Kazak - censorship[edit]

KK has removed my words:

  • many of them died (the mortality of the deported was high)
  • many prisoners were shot by the Soviets .

I opose such censorship. Xx236 11:03, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well since when is removing original research censorship?--Kuban Cossack 15:17, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Which original research? I have quoted two texts about the murder of the prisoners, linkspam really. Stop the censorship. Xx236 15:19, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Refrence the two texts, and yes random articles is linkspam, stop assualting this article. --Kuban Cossack 15:36, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop assaulting the article. Xx236 15:44, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You stop assaulting the article with your unreferenced claims.-Kuban Cossack 15:58, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop assaulting the article. Strange, but it doesn't contain any direct reference. Why do you demand references from me? I have given two links, one of them academic:

Pasha Saveleva[edit]

Can anyone locate any information on Pasha Saveleva? The only information I can find is in the Lonely Planet guide for Ukraine (p.113), which mentions that a statue was erected in the park across from the Birgittine monastery to memorialise her sacrifice during World War II, when she was burned alive by the occupying Nazis. --Bossi (talkgallerycontrib) 20:23, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stravinsky[edit]

Igor Stravinsky built a house near here, I recently learned. It is maintained as a museum. Surely ought to be mentioned.

I came to this page from the Stravinsky Wikipedia page. At least link back, but more about the museum might be in order.

Sister cities[edit]

The source which is used for the Sister cities section lists 3 cities that aren't added. When editing the source, someone added a comment which reads "rest - not twinned". I interpret that as "the three cities that aren't listed aren't actually twin towns to Lutsk". However, if you go to the website itself and click on one of these three towns (Горі, Світ, Алба-Юлія), it says that Lutsk has either a cooperation memorandum (Svit) or a partnership agreement (Alba Iulia, Gori) with them. Rzeszow, Lublin and Torun have partnership agreements, and are listed; and Bandirma has a cooperation memorandum, and is also listed. Can someone explain why that is, and should we add the three unlisted cities? Roman Shosirobe (talk) 16:11, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
