Applicable sections of road[edit]

From what I know, the name "Livingstone Road" only applies to the section of road from the Turnpike junction just south of the Kafue River crossing in Chikankata District up to the city of Livingstone, just as it is shown on OpenStreetMap. Some sources have told me that the T2 section of the road (Lusaka-Kafue Road) should not be included under the name "Livingstone Road"; meaning that only the T1 section should be included. Isn't ghat how it is supposed to be? Chils Kemptonian (talk) 15:44, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The T1, Turnpike-Livingstone, is named the "Livingstone Road" and is used as part of the physical address for people living along this road. When traveling from the direction of Mazabuka, on the newly renovated section, towards the junction with the T2 at the Turnpike the milestones give the distance to 'TNP' (Turnpike). The section of the T2 from the South End/Kafue Roundabout in Lusaka to Kafue is named the "Kafue Road". Again I think this page was originally created by somebody who once was an expat in Zambia and so the most significant destination for them leaving Lusaka going south would be Livingstone not necessarily Kafue, Zimbabwe or even Siavonga CmVChegutu (talk) 14:38, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Makes sense. Thanks for the details. Chils Kemptonian (talk) 15:23, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
