Source: "As if to drive the point home, Luca Comai whistled another shot past Monsanto's bow just a few months later. In October of 1985, he and several colleagues at Calgene published a paper in Nature describing their own glyphosate-tolerant plants...Comai's paper was a professional embarrassment to Monsanto."
