There is no word about Wenhelt. {150.244.103.161 (talk) 13:15, 15 July 2008 (UTC)}[reply]

The image in Figure 2 is definitely not "Simplified sketch of an LEED optics and experimental setup". Can someone supply more appropriate image or remove the figure, please? {78.128.178.194 (talk) 13:25, 6 June 2010 (UTC)}[reply]

I think Figure 5b is correct, since the over layer atoms are sitting over the black sub lattice. The black dots are still in a square lattice, you just don't see them under the white dots. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pakritar (talkcontribs) 17:47, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

de Broglie hypothesis?[edit]

In section 3.2, why is the de Broglie wavelength referred to as the "de Broglie hypothesis"? Matter waves are a solidified concept in physics and have long been experimentally proven. "de Broglie hypothesis" is to the best of my knowledge not a common name either; '"Broglie wavelength"' returns 40k results on Google Scholar versus 1k for '"Broglie hypothesis"'. 2001:4CA0:0:F262:B0F1:22CF:B7D4:FEE4 (talk) 16:29, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Small part copied to Electron diffraction[edit]

It is only a small part, cross-citing to here and with a little more general comment as TED/SXRD/DFT can also be used. It could perhaps be expanded slightly there. Ldm1954 (talk) 15:51, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
