Sourcing some info for this article[edit]

There are several "experts" on the article's subject whose contributions appear only in fora such as djangobooks.com and not in the primary published literature (also self-produced videos on youtube). In a previous version of the article I put these as citations, however user:Vmavanti removed these following wikipedia policy. So, I have adjusted the citations where possible (and removed a few bits of related text from the article) and moved such "non-official" sources to a section for external links. Hope that is now OK. Genealogy of Dallas Baumgartner[edit]

Dallas Baumgartner refers to Lousson as his grandfather, however he was raised by Kali (aka "Madame Rose"), Lousson's half sister (Florence Mayer's daughter by her second husband), whom Dregni refers to as Dallas' grandmother - I presume both cannot be simultaneously true, and on the basis that he is indeed a great-grandson of Django then he would be descended from Lousson (possibly the gypsies' use of family terms is looser than regular usage, and Kali would in fact be his great aunt; or Dregni's usage of the term grandmother is incorrect). Alternatively on the djangobooks forum there is another suggestion that it was Dallas' stepfather rather than father that was one of Lousson's sons. Since there is no clarity or published/citable sources here I have omitted this from the article but it would be interesting to know a little more... at any rate he appears to be the present custodian of most of Lousson's unreleased recordings at this time, see YouTube items plus chapter 13 in Dregni's 2008 book, "The Lost: The Secret History of Lousson Baumgartner and the "Other" Family.
