Neutrality Issue[edit]

There is a lot of negative commentary on Mayor Tullio's development policies in this article that have no citations whatsoever, hence my dispute. 24.18.226.4 (talk) 06:00, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality Issue[edit]

As a native of Erie who grew up there during the lowest of the low years (and also during Tullio's administration) I know that the city and mayor made lousy decisions. But the previous commenter is correct about whether the article is neutral. While I can attest from memory that those were rotten years, I can find absolutely no verification for claims that Tullio is "one of the worst US mayors in terms of failed urban redevelopment programs" or "Erie being a 'poster child' in urban planning textbooks for failed urban redevelopment schemes." Unless these claims were made in old hardcopy books (which should have been cited anyway), I have been unable to find any evidence whatsoever of these precise claims in particular books among the urban planning profession. I will remove them in reaction to the Neutrality banner that is presently at the top of the article. --DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 19:50, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
