Content dispute[edit]

User:DavidDelaune has made a number of edits to add Kayla Ard to the article. After she was removed from the "notable people" section, this editor added a section about "local athletes", where Kayla Ard was again added. There has been discussion about this at User talk:Magnolia677#Comment where User:Adolphus79 and myself seemed in agreement that Kayla Ard should be excluded, per WP:USCITIES#Notable people. The input of others would be appreciated. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:05, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am happy to find that after 12 hours that you are willing to negotiage. I just want to make a single point:
Kayla Ard is is a NCAA female basketball coach. How on Earth are you even thinking that this lady is not notable? Regardless of the outcome here today Kayla Ard will be in the history books as the head coach of the NCAA Utah State Aggies women's basketball female basketball team. There is nothing to debate. The wikipedia guidelines at WP:NCOLLATH clearly state that NCAA coaches are notable by default. Also I want to point out that here at Wikipedia editors have (overall) been found to be generally biased against female athletes. Let's work together to make sure that female basketball players get equal recognition. I don't wan't to make this a personal attack but you and User:Adolphus79 have over 20 combined WP:TAGTEAM debates against several opposing wikipedia related opinions. Regardless of the outcome of the administrative dispute that I have filed against you the percieved WP:TAGTEAM shared between User:Adolphus79 and User:Magnolia677 doesn't looks right. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a contest. Wikipedia editors are not here to win, we are here to accurately record history into encyclopedic articles. Apparently you linked to WP:TAGTEAM without even bothering to read it? Just because I answer comments on other users talk pages means nothing. For you to be uncivil on Magnolia677's user talk page is one thing, but to then make baseless claims and personal attacks like this on an article's talk page is far beyond the scope of assuming good faith. - Adolphus79 (talk) 02:19, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Where is that "Good Faith" with acknowledgement that Kayla Ard is a NCAA female basketball coach? Here is the list_of_current_NCAA_Division_I_women's_basketball_coaches. Should we delete Kayla Ard from the list because she is not notable? DavidDelaune (talk) 02:32, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As I told you on Magnolia677's talk page, feel free to create the article. - Adolphus79 (talk) 02:38, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have an additional idea. Let's allow our words to be viewed by everyone on the Earth and allow them to form their own opinion. I declare that Kayla Ard is a female NCAA basketball coach and worthy of being noticed. She is worthy of being mentioned in an encyclopedia. DavidDelaune (talk) 02:57, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please note: Kayla Ard has been added to the list of notable people on Hammond, Louisiana instead of this page, due to the fact that the sources provided all state that is where she is from. - Adolphus79 (talk) 20:48, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
