According to this article, Duck Amuck is the only game that runs game code when the DS is closed. I think there should be clarification on how this is different from the puzzle piece puzzle in Hotel Dusk where you close the DS to move the puzzle from one screen to the other. If I recall correctly, Hotel Dusk's (and Zelda Phantom Hourglass's) standby puzzles do not run any extra code in place of standby mode. Instead, they likely, for example, watch for the DS setting a "lid closed" flag, goes to sleep, and when the lid is re-opened, performs actions in-game accordingly. Duck Amuck, as far as I can tell, simply doesn't go to sleep at all when the lid is closed; instead, it stays active (which allows Daffy to shout "Open up!"). ~Aurakitsune 14:44, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

The important part here seems to be that the game runs code when the lid is closed under certain conditions, rather than whether or not it is the only one to do so. Attempted to fix a number of issues

OK, this article was very poorly written, so I had to get in with a flamethrower. Here's what I did:

• Changed the tone of the article. Now it reads more like an encyclopedic article and less like a leaflet with short instructions on how to play the game (and giving instructions on how to play a game is not within the scope of Wikipedia).
• Removed unnecessary information. Like I said above, an encyclopedic article is not an instruction leaflet or manual.

I see the external links issue was addressed before; however, there are no inline citations, so I'm not removing the tag yet. Moderatelyaverage (talk) 01:15, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
