Brooklyn Campus[edit]

Inaccurate Information[edit]

Disclosure: I am employed by the university and prevented from updating content as a conflict of interest. Significant updates are needed to the information here, especially references to C.W. Post as the university formally changed the campus to LIU Post effective 2012. New schools, programs, and teams are missing. Rachel, it's generally accepted by many editors for people with a potential conflict of interest to make minor or uncontroversial edits to articles e.g., updating out-of-date numbers, making simple and uncontroversial additions and deletions to lists just to keep them up-to-date. But when editors with a conflict of interest begin making significant edits that alter the tone of the article or are inherently controversial, that's a huge problem and one to which most editors will object. When in doubt, it's best to post suggestions to the Talk page to ensure that you're acting transparently and no one objects to any edits you'd like to make or have made for you. No confidence vote and faculty lockout[edit]

This entire article reads like an advertisement posted by LIU administration. But the faculty lockout due to an impending no-confidence vote in President Kimberly L Cline by the Brooklyn campus and events leading up seem notable. http://www.liuff.net/blog/2016/08/31/press-release-liu-president-cline-locks-out-liu-brooklyn-faculty/ I'm not in a position to edit now; is any neutral editor paying attention to this article? An editor from an LIU IP removed the lockout section on 29 November 2016, with the following summary: "The lockout information provided in inaccurate. This settlement was handle and is no longer active news." The lockout is sourced and remains active news as of this date. It is also notable as LIU is the first institution of higher education to lockout its faculty. I've restored this section and hope others continue to contribute to it. Section on Long Island University Press?[edit]

Would this article be the right place for a section on the Long Island University Press?
