I'm really new at this. I've read the tutorial. Please can you tell me what is meant by "wikify". I understand that it must mean something like "format the artical to make it more wikipedia-like", but specifically, what do you do and how do you do it?

The Wikipedia:Glossary is useful for this and other Wikipedia colloquialisms. From the wikify entry:

wikify: To format using wiki markup (as opposed to plain text or HTML) and add internal links to material, incorporating it into the whole of Wikipedia. Noun: Wikification. Sometimes abbreviated wfy.
