While researching another article, I found information that name Locofoco (as "Loco Foco") was still being used for New York Democrats into the late 1850's, although it appears that as early as 1837 the faction had been absorbed back into the mainline Democratic party, according to the article "Loco-Foco" [1]--Chuckhoffmann (talk) 18:58, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
