Notable Natives[edit]

There is a Notable Natives section both here and on the page for Lockport (city), New York. The problem is that biographies almost never distinguish between the City of Lockport and the Town of Lockport, simply saying just Lockport, NY. From a W.E. Miller bio, I know that both Millers lived in the City. From a web search it appears that JC Oates is more closely associated with the City as well. To deal with such ambiguities, I propose combining both Notable Natives lists and moving it to the Lockport, New York page. Mainstream Nerd 05:29, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I decided the merged list would be better at Lockport (city), New York, with a footnote. --Mainstream Nerd 05:51, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Need coverage of the PCBs pollution[edit]

Eighteen Mile Creek superfund site is in Lockport and needs to be described in this article. EPA website. SageRad (talk) 14:38, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Merge hamlets to main article[edit]

Carlisle Gardens, Highland Park, Nottingham Estates, Raymond, Shooktown and Wrights Corners could be merged (or redirected when there is not substantial information) into the main town article.Djflem (talk) 06:51, 19 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
