Note regarding COI tag[edit]

A major contributor to this article, BrettTremblay, has self identified that he is an employee of Livingston International and edits on the company's behalf. QuiteUnusual (talk) 11:05, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is not news. I declared that point when creating the article (actually picking up and completing a former AFC) and this was known when I was working with the original editors and approvers who helped ensure that all the content met Wikipedia guidelines and standards, such as NPOV, see [1] as well as the page's own revision history. The COI tag unfairly casts aspersions on this page's content. I am removing the COI tag since the first approach to be used if there is a concern about conflict of interest should be "direct discussion of the issue with the editor, referring to this (the COI) guideline" (see [2]). That discussion occcured two years ago and COI concerns were addressed. Proof of the sustained lack of COI is evident by the fact that I have not interferred with content edits made on this page by other editors. I welcome a discussion but, instead of a tag, I propose submitting this article for peer review [3] or consideration by the Companies WikiProject group [4] or even nomination to the Neutral point of view/Noticeboard [5] BrettTremblay (talk) 16:05, 27 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
