Sources[edit]

The article is distinctly Chinglish and no sources are given at all.

I have actually removed the only "reference" given, because the link didn't point to any specific information about Liu Bocheng. On the site given, there was only a three-sentence entry about Liu Bocheng.[1] At the moment I have no time to thoroughly copy-edit the article, let alone to look for sources. —Babelfisch 05:43, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:MILHIST Assessment[edit]

A very cursory glance seems to indicate that the "Chinglish" style issues mentioned above have been fixed; this might however not be the case, and the article may need further copy-editing. Also, definitely definitely needs references. LordAmeth 09:18, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately it hasn't really been fixed. I cleaned up the "early life" section a bit, making it a little less awkward. The other problem is that a lot of it sounded pretty non-POV-neutral. I felt like reading a Chinese high school text on the glorious forefathers of the great people's democratic revolution...
