Lee Enfield Production[edit]

I don't know who came up with the idea that Lithgow has only produced 50,000 Lee Enfield rifles since 2012. At the end of 1914 they were producing 35,000 rifles per year (WW1 1914-1918). In 1941 (during WW2) they were producing 4,000 rifles per week (thats over 200,000 per year). For Australia WW2 lasted 5 years (1939-1945). Lee Enfield rifles were produced at Lithow from 1912 to around 1956. 144.139.103.173 (talk) 14:29, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, my bad. I found a source stating 640,000 over the two world wars. I've put that in. // Lollipoplollipoplollipop :: talk 07:00, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
