  • Rembrand Koning et al. (2021). Who do we invent for? Patents by women focus more on women’s health, but few women get to invent. Science doi:10.1126/science.aba6990 Interesting-looking paper on health patents which I can't access. Espresso Addict (talk) 05:59, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Denise E. Pilato (2016). Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society doi:10.5406/jillistathistsoc.109.4.0374 Interesting article on 1893 fair in Chicago, with some notes on expectations for women inventors eg "Merit, for a woman’s invention, was inextricably linked to how well it reinforced feminine ideals, which were not necessarily merits designating noteworthy technological progress." Order[edit]

Would anyone object if I tried to reorder by region? It appears be more sensible to group Europe vs N. America &c. Espresso Addict (talk) 23:38, 8 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Any thoughts on this notion? It seems to me to make it less "pebbles on a beach"-y, but the current order has the advantage of putting the US last, which would be tricky to achieve otherwise (South America, at very least, would end up below the US).
