By country[edit]

Shouldn't it be lists of women's first by country? Perhaps in this article? --Aciram (talk) 16:41, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on List of women's firsts. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Inclusion of date when awards created?[edit]

For award categories, the date the first woman won one is meaningless without the context of when the award was created. For example, the Pulitzer Prize was created in 1917, first awarded to a woman in 1918, whereas the Academy Award for Best Director was created in 1929, but not won by a woman until 2010. I propose adding (created 19xx) to the end of each entry where applicable? Wormald (talk) 17:58, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea, support. Whizz40 (talk) 05:36, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Any objection to a new section for "other"?[edit]

I've come across Molly Kool, first licensed ship's captain, and there must be plenty of other women "firsts" that aren't listed. Carbon Caryatid (talk) 18:42, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
