Redirects[edit]

BWV 451 redirects here, not landing on the specific number but at the header. That seems not helpful to the reader. I belive that if we have background information about texts, we should have a way to link there, in this case Die güldne Sonne voll Freud und Wonne. Ideas? It seems to work for Jesu, meines Glaubens Zier. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:16, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The link to the Die güldne Sonne voll Freud und Wonne article will be via the Zahn number in the table. I'm working on it, but it's a bit more complex this time, needing a somewhat more complex update of the hymn article than usual. The article mentions two melodies thus far: the melody in Schemellis Gesangbuch is neither, and there are still a few more melodies than these three. --Francis Schonken (talk) 18:41, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome to add these. I thought saying Bach set the text indicates that it is a different melody. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:52, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, he used a pre-existing melody (published in 1708). --Francis Schonken (talk) 19:10, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
