Morey[edit]

Can't find a source for the Morey Junior High School shooting (1961). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rablanken (talkcontribs) 21:45, 20 July 2012‎ (UTC)[reply]

Here's a source: http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9505E3DC133BE13ABC4052DFB667838A679EDE. This source is linked in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_school_shootings_in_the_United_States#1960s . Um, I'm not sure why this wiki page exists, though; compare https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3APrefixIndex&prefix=List+of+shootings&namespace=0 and https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3APrefixIndex&prefix=List+of+mass&namespace=0 and it looks like most other content like this has been folded into List of massacres in the United States. "Two notable massacres"[edit]

"In the past 15 years, there have been two notable massacres in Colorado" - perhaps "notable" is the wrong word here? If only two were "notable," then why would four others have articles here? ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:00, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removed all shootings under "massacres" that were not massacres. -- WV 21:57, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

American citizen[edit]

Why does each entry state that the shooter was an American citizen? Niteshift36 (talk) 13:11, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Colorado list is miles ahead of the one for Texas. I may try to bring the Texas list up to snuff. What exactly is included on this list? Perhaps shootings where either the event or the killer is "notable," has an article? --''Paul, in Saudi'' (talk) 02:19, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This list gives the date of December 13, but the actual article says December 14. Which is correct? Nellisks (talk) 14:07, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like December 14 is the correct date. https://abcnews.go.com/US/auroras-massacre-victims-20-year-wait-justice/story?id=16847013 . Also, the story in the NYT, dated Dec. 16, says the shooting was on a Tuesday. December 14 fell on a Tuesday that year https://www.nytimes.com/1993/12/16/us/gunman-kills-4-workers-at-colorado-restaurant.html . SlowJog (talk) 16:22, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ludlow massacre[edit]

The Ludlow Massacre should be on this list I think Victor Grigas (talk) 12:31, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
