Why is there no mention of[edit]

Mundra port/Adani Ports & SEZ Limited? It is India's largest port by cargo handled since 2014, with over 100 million tonnes of cargo handled. Anir1uph | talk | contrib 11:34, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Only Ports owned by Union Government are called Major Ports . So eventhough Mundra Port handles a lot of cargo, it is not considered major . Didduta | talk | contrib 02:39, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Then, it (ONLY Govt owned port) should be clearly specified in this article just before the table. Otherwise, currently it is quiet misleading. To remove the file from the article.[edit]

If this article is about the ports developed by government of India, then why is added in the ==Cargo Handed== section. The Kollam Port is not a Port developed by Government of India. It is developed by state government of Kerala. Bishalkumarr (talk) 05:41, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
