'Comment' Holey Cow!! now this must have taken some time to compilate. Would this be better served by splitting it up into groups of more easily managed topics? The public loo outside the bar in skagway could be considered a 'place' in alaska :-D Nelgallan 13:50, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

This list was extracted from data compiled by the NOAA according to their definitions. I tried to convert them into proper wikilinks, but that is unlikely to always work, so many that appear red aren't actually non-existent. There are a million other "list of places" articles, such as List of places in Serbia or any in Category:Lists of places, so I don't think it should be broken up. Denali Park[edit]

What is the difference between Denali National Park and Denali Park? Or is the latter just a shortened form? If so, a redirect should be created. I was about to do this but wanted to get clarification first. RedWolf 16:05, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm... I was going to say that "Denali Park" refers to the actual "place", including all the businesses and things that aren't in the park itself but along the highway, but there seem to be as many uses of "Denali National Park, AK" in addresses as "Denali Park, AK".
