How detailed?[edit]

Does anyone else have opinions on if we should list only the notable enough ones that already have artices, or all we can think of? I would tend to err on the side of including at least most of the members of the early companies, but avoid red links by just putting in the names instead of links for the ones for whom not much is written. Companies of ABCFM[edit]

Currently missing are missionaries from other arrivals, children of the original missionaries who became missionaries themselves and their spouses, and the spouse of the company missionaries who they married on return visits and brought back to Hawaii. Bicentennial[edit]

The bicentennial of the arrival will be in three years and David Forbes will be publishing Partners in Change: A Biographical Dictionary of American Protestant Missionaries in Hawaii, and their Hawaiian and Tahitian Colleagues, 1820 – 1900 which may provide a unique insight into the role of indigenous Hawaiian and Tahitian missionaries. --KAVEBEAR (talk) 05:59, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
