Lee-Enfield[edit]

Why is the Lee-Enfield listed as orginating in both the UK and Scotland? It's redundant, but I don't know if there's a reason for listing Scotland in specific or not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.114.61.122 (talk) 18:38, 8 January 2012 (UTC) Scotland did not exist as sovereign state during WWII; therefore reference to Scotland is meaningless in my opinion. If nobody objects, will remove Scotland in few days.--Trurle (talk) 08:51, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Flags[edit]

I worry about extensive use of state flags. It looks cool, but do not convey additional information (state name already present), and hamper data extraction if somebody will be using copy-paste to Excel or other table editor. Will we make this summary page flagless?

Independent country[edit]

I disagree with "Furthermore, it was only partially independent from the United Kingdom."

(The Dominion of) Canada was a fully (politically) independent country, with the single (possible) exception of needing a British rubber stamp to amend it's constition - it is administrivia, and hence a misleading borderung on incorrect statement. Add? Bren Gun Carrier / 20mm Polsten / Long Branch Armouries[edit]

Bren Gun Carrier / Universal Carrier: Built by Ford Oakville using Bren Gun built by Inglis (Toronto) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Carrier

20mm Polsten gun manufacturer by Inglis Toronto. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/20_mm_Polsten

Mention that Canadian Lee-Enfields built by Long Branch Arsenal (Small Arms Ltd). The former site would now be in Mississauga, Ontario (although the former town of Long Branch border is in Toronto (Etobicoke)).

Also some Sten guns made by Long Branch. https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=36140
