Structure[edit]

I want to import the list found at http://www.who.int/selection_medicines/committees/expert/19/applications/Fomepizole_4_2_AC_Ad.pdf page 10 to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methanol_epidemic_poisonings

Is that possible and how do I do that without copyright violation?

Most countries mentioned in the Methanol epidemic poisonings article are low epidemics in the PDF file. So what do you suggest? Show the recent mass outbreaks or the biggest outbreaks (eg 100+ deaths)? --David Hedlund (talk) 07:49, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think a list like that would not be considered a creative work and thus would not be protected by copyright. But I'm no expert – best to ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Adrian J. Hunter(talkcontribs) 11:28, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Page title[edit]

The page title has been changed a lot!

  • "outbreak" is a good choice because these incidents are limited in geographic scope, generally to one village or even one party.
  • "Methanol outbreak" is a little odd because these incidents are not outbreaks of Methanol but rather outbreaks of poisoning due to Methanol.

As such, I propose that Methanol poisoning outbreaks is best. Let's establish consensus right here before moving the page again. (Heroeswithmetaphors) talk 15:27, 17 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

That's certainly an improvement, but per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (plurals), I suggest Methanol poisoning outbreak is the appropriate title. (I'm assuming we want this to be a full article about the topic that happens to list notable outbreaks. An alternative would be to make it a list article and name it List of methanol poisoning outbreaks.) Adrian J. Hunter(talkcontribs) 11:22, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
