List[edit]

The article should be a list of journalists killed in Turkey. Not everybody that was remotely related to a newspaper, like 13 year-old kids (a newsboy, I imagine). It could still be referenced, and anyone interested could read about it there.--Cfsenel (talk) 02:51, 23 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Early years" section NPOV and merger proposal[edit]

No source. I propose to remove the section. And/Or I propose that List of journalists killed in Turkey be merged into List of assassinated people from Turkey. KARA (talk) 13:35, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Closing a stale proposal with no support; the relevant section now has relevant references/sources, so the key issues seems to have been resolved by another means. Klbrain (talk) 21:42, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unbalanced and verification needed[edit]

This list is full of mistakes. The most common mistakes:

  • Non-journalists like Yalçın Yaşa (aged 13). 13 year olds are not considered journalist.
  • Killings not happened in Turkey but in other countries like Adem Yavuz
  • Unconfirmed killings. A car crash is not a killing. Even if the car crash was a trap, it should not belong here without hard evidence. Otherwise change the name of the article in "List of journalists killed in Turkey plus suspicious killings plus conspiracy theories et cetera"
  • Paperboys are not journalists.
  • No sources on a lot of the names. --Randam (talk) 11:03, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think I fixed these issues. MRTFR55 (talk) 19:00, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
