Raul is not President of Cuba[edit]

Just to reiterate something. Raul is not yet President of Cuba anymore than George H. Bush was president of the US after Reagan was shot, and John Prescott was British Prime Minister after Tony Blair underwent heart treatment. Raul has assumed the duties of President of the council of State during Fidel's incapacitation. --Zleitzen 13:58, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish names of the parties[edit]

They should be (assuming that the English names are correct) something like:

  • MR-26-7: Movimiento Revolucionario de 26 Julio (Revolutionary Movement of July 26th)
  • ORI: Organizaciones Revolucionarias Integradas (Integrated Revolutionary Organizations)
  • PAP: Partido Acción Progresista (Progressive Action Party)
  • PAU: Partido Acción Unido (United Action Party)
  • PCC: Partido Comunista de Cuba (Communist Party of Cuba)
  • PP: Partido Progresista (Progressive Party)
  • PRC-A: Partido Revolucionario Cubano-Auténtico (Cuban Revolutionary Party-Authentic)
  • PUSC: Partido Unido de la Revolución Socialista Cubana (United Party of the Cuban Socialist Revolution)

Numberings[edit]

In the bios, Diaz-Canel is the 19th President. Yet in this article, he's listed as the 17th President. We've a problem here, folks. GoodDay (talk) 19:19, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think I fixed it. Thinker78 (talk) 06:30, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
But who decides on the numbering ? Why are some missed ? [1] has Diaz-Canel as number 24. -- Beardo (talk) 22:14, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Andrés Rivero Agüero[edit]

Was Agüero president because he technically won the 1958 Cuban general election? ovA_165443 (talk) 03:05, 15 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Anselmo Alliegro y Milá Picture[edit]

I don't know a lot about Cuban politics, but the picture for Anselmo Alliegro y Milá does not look like the same person as the one in his article. Leviavery (talk) 20:09, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
