Article title[edit]

I cannot find any explication of what the "General Syndics of the General Council of the Valleys" are, neither in the article on Andorra, nor in the article on Politics of Andorra. The current article title looks like a different translation of some Andorrean name than those used in the two other articles mentioned. In addition, I would expect a list to contain more than just the names of current "Syndics". --Crusio (talk) 15:41, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article title[edit]

According to the English Wikipedia article the legislature of Andorra is sometimes referred to as the General Council of the Valleys. According to the Europa World Year Book 2004 the General Syndic is the speaker of the Andorran legislature.

In fact, I have planned to create an article with the First Syndics from 1841 to 1993. In 1993 the name was changed to General Syndic.
