inclusion of image and entry for Lord Dronia[edit]

rather than this back and forth, add/revert/add/revert without comment, can we please discuss the issue here? it is not helpful nor constructive for editors to be performing this cycle without comment. i'm unclear what the basis is for removal of the image and entry. can we please discuss it? Anastrophe (talk) 08:31, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is a referenced link at the article Pier Gerlofs Donia\Lord Donia on his sexuality. So he can be included on this page aswell as the image of his statue. What do you say, after having read the article, especially that one section? Angela from the Blue (talk) 08:38, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

actually, i'm not involved in the add/revert/add/revert cycle. i've merely asked both you and SatyrTN to discuss things here - on the article talk page, where it will be clearer for all editors what's going on. Anastrophe (talk) 08:40, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the thing is, he told me I was allowed to re-add the image and name here again if I would properly reference the statements on this man's sexuality. I did, and so I re-added it on here. SatyrTN has not yet replied, but I'm sure he agrees with me now! Does this sound fair or what? Angela from the Blue (talk) 08:42, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

it does sound fair, if that's the case. mainly, i prefer to see disputes like this played out on the article talk page, as getting other editor input can clarify issues more quickly than just back and forth discussion on user talk pages. i simply kept seeing your additions go by, then satyrTN's reversions go by, with no edit summaries explaining what was in dispute. if it's all cleared up now, then that's great. Anastrophe (talk) 08:45, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
it looks though like the reference hasn't been added to this article, or the reference is broken, as the row appears to be not right now. Anastrophe (talk) 08:46, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, I kinda forgot to add it here - sorry for that! But as you can see, the article itself is referenced! Angela from the Blue (talk) 08:48, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

yep - and i just added that ref here. so all should now be perfect. Anastrophe (talk) 08:49, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
but now the next issue would appear to be that it's not quite in the right alphabetic order! Anastrophe (talk) 08:50, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I am not touching this any more! I'm sure ignorant people just remove it again. Would you perhaps feel for it to add the thing on the right place? They won't come up and remove it then, because you are not such a new and (seemingly) controversial user. Can you do that for me? Angela from the Blue (talk) 08:57, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

done. Anastrophe (talk) 09:01, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thanks. Let us be done with it, then. Angela from the Blue (talk) 09:03, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As I mentioned on my talk page, "Lord" doesn't even appear in the man's article, so calling him that on here doesn't make much sense. I'm going to move this entry over to the "D" page. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 15:42, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have added this name to the list. I wasn't sure which of his references was the best to put. There are several other possible ones listed in the references in his entry.--Mgdelarosa (talk) 03:14, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

John F. Kennedy, Jr.?[edit]

Why isn't John F. Kennedy, Jr. not included in this list (with his picture)? REFERENCE: Heymann, C. David (2008). American Legacy: The Story of John & Caroline Kennedy. New York: Simon & Schuster. {{edit semi-protected}} Add Prince Bojidar Karageorgevitch

109.245.88.53 (talk) 23:47, 24 January 2011 (UTC) Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Note that nothing on his Wikipage states or confirms that he was gay or bisexual. If such reliable information is added to that page, then the person's name can be added here.  Not done Not with that source; it's too short of a blurb to be useful. Though if you can find the original article in which she apparently said it, that may be sufficient. Also, if you're going to keep adding requests to the talk page, could you please leave a blank space between the source URL and your signature? Doing it the way you have been causes the link not to work properly because it's including the -- from your .sig as part of the url. Bearcat (talk) 22:24, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oswalt Kolle died in 2010, so his lifespan should be corrected to 1928-2010. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oswalt_Kolle - Thanks. Accito (talk) 23:26, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

John F. Kennedy Jr. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_F._Kennedy_Jr.) should be added to the list, because a biography has been published on the subject. SOURCES: -American legacy: the story of John & Caroline Kennedy, by David Heymann (ISBN: 9780743497398) -http://www.dnamagazine.com.au/articles/news.asp?news_id=2903 206.123.3.136 (talk) 17:15, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I'm going to be nice and highlight the quote from that DNA article that singlehandedly makes this a non-starter: "There’s no confirmation anywhere in the book from any of the alleged male ex-lovers of JFK Jr., but pages and pages of gossip and hearsay about the topic". This is not a list of people who have been rumoured or alleged to have been LGBT — it's a list of people who are known to have been definitively LGBT, and "gossip and hearsay" isn't the kind of sourcing we need to add someone to it. The book is almost a decade old now, yet is still the only extant source for the claim that he might have been gay or bisexual — which means that there's still simply not enough evidence. My friend Marcus Ku is gay, I just want to add him so he feels special. His birth date is 2003. He has no job but he plays games. It would be greatly appreciated if he was added. KevinTheHoly (talk) 06:52, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
