109a, 109b and 110 seem to exist, but not listed here - oversight, or is there a reason?[edit]

109a seems to exist by that name and seems to be listed elsewhere across the internet as the combo of playing 108 and One^8 together, and is listed as such within wikipedia per Number_Pieces#One, so why is it not shown on this page? Same goes for 109b and 110.96.11.85.188 (talk) 18:29, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In this list it is also not included the Sixteen Dances for soloist and company of 3 (1951) edited by Edition Peters. Why?

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately the article was vandalized more than two months ago. Cage is apparently not an interesting subject for most Wikipedians, so nobody noticed. I was the original author of the article, but I'm not an active editor at Wikipedia anymore, so it escaped my attention as well. Sixteen Dances has been added again, as well as all the works from 1951-59 that were removed from the list by the vandal. As for 109a, 109b, and 110, I'm afraid I can't find a proper source right now - I have quite a few Cage scores in my library, but not ones for 108 or One8, One9, etc. If the titles "109" and "110" are mentioned by Cage in the prefaces to those scores, they should be added, but if they're someone else's invention, we should look into that first. (The edit at Number Pieces is unreferenced.) --Jashiin (talk) 16:50, 9 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

To add[edit]

To add to this list: "Solo for Sliding Trombone" (1957-1958). 173.88.246.138 (talk) 03:25, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, it's one of the orchestral parts for "Concert for Piano and Orchestra." 173.88.246.138 (talk) 03:27, 11 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
