This list is inaccurate. E.g. Quilmes is much bigger than Pilar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.84.179.130 (talk) 20:50, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Distinction: GBA is not a city[edit]

Why would Greater BA be shown in a List of Cities? It is not a city but an urban area. I would think a list of cities would have Buenos Aires separately, then other cities in GBA like Avellaneda, Quilmes, Olivos, or whichever happens to make the list. Methinks. -- Alexf(talk) 11:51, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In this particular case, it depends of the definition provided by INDEC (see ref 1). Anyway, I strongly agree with the need of listing separately Greater BA cities in some other list. It is quite strange to see listed small cities like Venado Tuerto instead of Avellaneda or Ramos Mejía, et al. Salut, --IANVS (talk) 12:07, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've just added Greater Buenos Aires cities to the list. They were equally covered by INDEC, so there was no reason not to include them. Salut, --IANVS (talk | cont) 00:35, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
