Minor: Missing conjunction & meaning in Washington, DC entry[edit]

Ok, this is nitpicking, but the entry for Washington, DC reads "Dupont Circle The Metro system" — Is this supposed to be "Dupont Circle and the Metro system", "Dupont Circle in the Metro system", or even "Dupont Circle on the Metro System". Since the differences reflect different sets of facts, the grammar error needs to be fixed by someone with the appropriate knowledge. Scott 15:24, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Minor: Change in Nashville busking locations[edit]

I live in Nashville and have never seen a busker on Music Row - the buskers are very common though downtown on Broadway and 2nd Avenue. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Luschen (talkcontribs) 03:32, August 22, 2007 (UTC).

Montreal Busking[edit]

Busking on Ste-Catherine street, at the Old Port without a city issued permit, or indeed anywhere outside the Metro, can incur a $400 ticket if the police choose to stop you. Permits are issued to a small number of people chosen through a random draw after passing an audition, and cost around $250 for the summer season. Even with a permit, buskers are limited to a few select locations. However, anyone can busk in the Metro system at places designated by a blue harp sign.

At certain locations busking is tolerated, such as at the Etoiles du Metro signs in the Metro, which are reserved for selected artists but are frequently unused. Mont Royal street also accommodates buskers without permits, specifically outside Metro Mont Royal and in front of the Intermarche on the corner of Boyer. In all these locations police can ticket you, but generally let talented musicians play. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.194.192.145 (talk) 01:08, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

DC Busking[edit]

This page lists Washington Metro as a place to busk. If this is referring to the subway system, then this is outdated. Busking in and around the DC metro service is banned.

Listings[edit]

This list is not a place to put locations for busking but a list where it is notable where busking has occurred. Each entry needs to be cited using a verifiable, reliable reference. I plan to remove all entries that are not cited or cannot be easily found a citation that accords with Wikipedia standards.Robynthehode (talk) 06:17, 23 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
